In light of concerns with health products and processes,a group of internationally recognized professionals have formed an alliance to create a Risk Management Program (hereafter called RM Program) supporting the Center for Applied Health Sciences at Virginia Tech to improve the safety and quality of our nation's medical and food products. The content of the RM Program will aim at quality, compliance, and risk management. The focus of the RM Program will be international and will recruit international experts for instructions and in addition, the Center personnel will also seek collaboration with industry, both small and big companies, government and academics, both national and international, in pursuing a focused mission to aid health providers worldwide. |

How does CAHS support the public health?
CAHS educates the health product industries and the general public on how Quality, Compliance, and Risk management improve patient safety, cost effectiveness and increase efficiency for health product providers. Thus, CAHS provides partnership opportunities to both health product users and providers since they play an important role in communicating and improving patient safety and quality of life issues.
How will CAHS utilize corporate sponsorship?
CAHS is rapidly increasing visibility as well as membership and we need your help to ensure quality, risk management, and compliance is well understood and practiced. By becoming a corporate sponsor, CAHS will carry out the following:
